Cannabis Awareness Tool for Indigenous Communities

A Community-Informed Approach to Cannabis Public Health Education and Awareness is a website created by the Native Women’s Association of Canada (NWAC) and funded by Health Canada’s Substance Use and Addiction program. This resource was created specifically to provide First Nations, Inuit and Metis communities with information on cannabis use that is culturally safe, gender-based and trauma-informed.

This website was created through an engagement process with rural, urban and remote Indigenous communities. Visit nwaccannabised.ca to learn more about the project and to access the resources.
