Robson Street dates back to the late 1800’s and was one of the first streets established in Vancouver. It
was named in honour of John Robson, Premier of British Columbia from 1889-1892. When tracks were
laid along Robson to Jervis Street, a wide variety of small specialized shops sprang up to serve
Vancouver’s rapidly growing population, and Robson became a vibrant community.

Today it is Vancouver’s most iconic shopping and dining destination, complete with fashion and beauty flagships, lifestyle stores, cafés, patios, and fine dining. This bustling stretch of Vancouver attracts thousands of locals and visitors from around the world.
