Did you know that animals can laugh too? I just recently found out, and now I can’t get enough of this adorable fact!
At the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) researchers found that 65 different animal species make “play vocalizations” that are similar to laughter. These species include apes, rats, cows, dogs, foxes, seals, mongooses, birds and many more! This study aimed to show that while laughter was previously considered something only humans did, it is actually a behaviour shared with other species. The researchers state that animals instinctively display playfulness and laughter as a way to communicate enjoyment and invite others to join in.
Whenever you are feeling a bit low or in need of a cheer-me-up, consider searching for videos of animals laughing. It could help brighten your day 🙂

Happy Friday!
The idea of Feel Good Fridays started because we believe the simple things that bring a smile to our face are some of the best things. Smiling and laughing has been proven to reduce stress in our lives! When we smile or laugh it releases neurotransmitters in our brain called endorphins, which are in charge of making us happy and helping to relieve stress.
