October 10th is World Mental Health Day. This year the theme is “make mental health and wellbeing for all a global priority.” The Covid-19 pandemic has significantly impacted many individuals around the world especially when it comes to their mental health. For many countries, the pandemic has impacted the quality of services and supports that individuals were able to access. Today’s goal is to bring awareness to mental health issues that individuals experience around the world and to continue promoting advocacy for mental health in different spaces.

You can also take time today to do some self reflection on your own mental health, practice some self care and check in with loved ones on how they’re doing.
