Support Counselling Canada
We provide support to individuals and families by providing a wide range of services. Counselling is available for those who are struggling with their mental wellbeing; we provide parenting sessions including anger management, stress management, individual and family sessions.
We bring extensive experience and professionalism to every case and tailor our support according to individual needs and concerns. We also offer in-person counselling services and online or telephone counselling services if individuals prefer not to meet in person, live in areas not close to our office, are busy or are unable to travel to an appointment in case of illness or an outbreak.
I am a registered Social Worker with 25 years of experience in the field and my background consists of mental health and addictions, domestic violence, anger management counselling, management and supervision. I also facilitate psycho-education groups on domestic violence, addictions and family support. My work also extends to building awareness and capacity in the community around such issues. I practice from the Integrated Holistic Service Delivery Model and utilize Cognitive-Behaviour therapy as well as Motivational Interviewing and Solution-Focused therapy.
In my 10 years’ experience at Red Cross I have supervised programs targeting the needs of children with special needs, managing family counselling centers and transitory home for destitute girls.
