Support Counselling

We provide non-judgmental, culturally, and linguistically appropriate services to the court mandated sexual assault offenders. The aim of the program is based on taking accountability and assumption of responsibility for the offensive behavior, with an ultimate goal of relapse prevention. We apply CBT techniques and person-centered approach while counselling sex offenders.

Our Therapy Philosophy

The Alcohol and drug abuse program consists of eight to twelve (8-12) individual counselling sessions. Each session is approximately 45 minutes to about 1 hour in length and the duration of the program is usually between 1 to 2 months. The program can also be completed within a shorter period of time. We provide a “Completion report” after successful completion of the program. The letter can be used by the Court Mandated Clients as a part of court requirement or can be used for personal or employment purposes.

This program will help the client to understand:

Identifying and showing some insight into the reasons of act done
Boundaries and personal space
Victim awareness/empathy enhancement
Explanation in regards to sexual consent
Cognitive restructuring
Managing deviant sexual arousal
Developing strategies to avoid situations and triggers that might cause further problems/ Relapse Prevention
Relationship and interpersonal skills

Alcohol & Drug Abuse

We provide counselling services in a safe and non-judgmental manner to work through alcohol abuse, drug abuse and related problems.

Stress Management

We provide individual counselling sessions on stress management to improve overall quality of life. Our program meets court requirements, or can be taken for personal growth.

Anger Management

The Anger Management Program consists of eight to ten (8-10) individual counselling sessions. The program can also be completed within a shorter period of time.

Parenting Sessions

We provide parenting session embedded with robust curriculum aimed to assist parents with communication skills, managing behavior, and building strong relationships with their children.

Domestic Violence

The Domestic Violence Program is a psycho-educational program which help clients who display controlling, violent, and abusive behaviors towards their intimate partners.
